Ski village the future

Recommended Posts

They'll struggle to get anything done there now that there's a well established gypsy camp there.

Dry ski slopes had their day years ago. Indoor real snow facilities like Castleford have long succeeded them.

Didnt know the pikies had camped there. Well they have no chance of getting anything done then.

I'm just waiting for the date of the public meeting where we the people of Sheffield get to decide what it's going to be, after being so democratically engaged in this country through our political system, the local powers granted from central government gives us the opportunity to make into what we want, it's great they have used modern technology to give us this vote via the internet on a council funded forum plus also the chance to sit publically and discuss ideas of what this should be, they have gave us a budget of 10 million, I'm sure the we can give the people who live in caravans a job or maybe even make that into a permanent travelers stop site, but officially.

can't wait.

You expect the socialist weasels on the council to give the average man a say??

Fat chance.

They'll roll out some half-hearted 'poll' on the council website, and then completely ignore whatever results it produces and do whatever they want anyway.

Is the forum really council funded?

But that won't stop people blaming "The Council" for things they read here.

I vote for renaturalising it in to a meadow for the wildlife in the city.

That's a good idea.

Before it's finally torn down, or whatever it looks like someone's had one last ride on the old slopes.
