dhs1   10 #25 Posted February 10, 2015 (edited) What about http://www.wincobankchapel.btck.co.uk/ Never been inside but it looks quite small from the outside   Sorry it is bigger than it looks http://www.wincobankchapel.btck.co.uk/Facilities but there are smaller rooms which you could enquire about  It is very nice and welcoming, it is also hosts lots of community events.  Wincobank Chapel was my first thought. As it doesn't ( or didn't ) have a full time minister the available dates may be only once a month.  I don't go to many christenings but the last two I went to were tagged on the end of a regular Sunday service. The other was in a practically empty church. They don't get the numbers weddings get.  This is the practice in many churches unless you are prepared to pay a fee for the church to be opened specially for a private christening.
