Ghozer   112 #2 Posted January 31, 2015 Changing the board only takes about 10 minutes to do, Flashing isn't recommended as a recent update detected this and blocked a load of consoles...  What's the problem with it?
 Share this content via...
kenthack   10 #3 Posted January 31, 2015 Wont read games alot and does actually stick ocasionally. Thought replacing was best idea. Problem is that looks like liteon are soldered as well. Thanks ken Flashing i meant by key not unlocking. Ta
 Share this content via...
Ghozer   112 #4 Posted January 31, 2015 You can just swap the boards over, that's much easier and quicker than flashing.... (and a great deal easier too)  if you're not happy doing it, I have done quite a few and wouldn't mind sorting it for you!
 Share this content via...

Ghozer   112 #6 Posted January 31, 2015 The soldering part on the liteon drives puts me off lol  It's easy to do.... if you have a soldering iron, I don't mind even coming and doing it there, it's a 2 minute job (once the drives out of the xbox and open)
 Share this content via...

Extract the key using the "PMT" method, the use the same method and jungle flasher for flashing a new drive with your keys. Totally solderless and works a treat.
