What we avin for tea?

Don’t quite feel like cooking tea tonight,

So look down the fast foods hoping to spot a delight,

Might be a burger one of those with cheese?

Possible fries or mozzarella bites a sure tease,

Maybe a Chinese as quite fancy something with rice,

House special Chow Mein or Beef and Black Bean, sounds nice,

My local Take away will deliver straight to our door,

Don’t fancy an Indian that is something for sure,

Nor Fish and Chips even though can’t rule it out,

Do you fancy a Pizza? Says her indoors which wasn't a bad shout,

Not really I said, well hurry up and decide, she blasted at me,

My stomach is rumbling and wants its tea,

Go on then we will phone for a Chinese,

The girl on the phone asks can she take my order please.

House Special Fried Rice, Prawn Toast and Chicken Chow Mein,

Then she asks me, is that it? Sir and what’s your name?

Followed by the address and says that will be £10.50,

Any chance you can get it here fairly nifty,

Be forty minutes Sir we are very busy tonight,

It will have to be love, yes that will be alright,

Well it was late, so there praises I would not be singing,

Over an hour later when that door bell was ringing,

Our lass says just pay him, and don’t be rude,

Stood at the door was this little man with our food,

Your order Sir and very sorry for being late,

I gave him £11.00 and said no problem mate,

Placed on to two plates it was equally shared,

Devoured quickly and them hunger pains were repaired.
