Bill Plant   10 #61 Posted January 27, 2015 A taser is classed as a firearm and some can also kill.....  I checked on this because i was sure it must be wrong but yeah, bang on on both counts. Quite a number have been killed to around thye globe. A lot more than many people would think.
 Share this content via...

Just pointing out the loss of child and total destruction to her family and friends compared to a criminal offence which harmed no one . The extra two and half years . Just saying . I didnt mean to imply you were trying to justify anything mate. I was just commenting on what Mafia said as it was a surprise to me until i looked it up. denlin   12 #64 Posted January 27, 2015 NOT murder. Your emotional outburst has no effect on anything and just because the driver killed the girl it dont mean he murdered her. Unless it was a deliberate targeted hit and i dont think young Jasmine hung around in those sort of circles.  He had no licence, no insurance, was doing twice the legal limit and off his face. He made the decision to get behind the wheel. Emotional it may be but my sympathies lie with the parents who have to live with the loss of their daughter and not the poor, unfortunate who despite his inability to stop himself getting behind the wheel did not mean to kill. It's a cop out. 3 years from now he'll be free to carry on with his life whereas Jasmyn can't and her family have the life senrence. How is that justice? I was just commenting on what Mafia said as it was a surprise to me until i looked it up. Â No offence taken . Just saying the person with the taser has messed up his own life and knows that . But the pain and loss this girls family have to live with and he gets two and half years more which i bet will get reduced . No justice . yorky15 Â Â 10 #68 Posted January 27, 2015 Not quite the same as carrying a gun or a knife though . Â Same result, regrettably.
 Share this content via...

Thje road is wet and possibly a bit greasy so really theres no excuse.  You can probably find them every day. I travel that way to work a few times a week and I have people all over the back of me when I'm doing 30 through there. It's ridiculous it really is. I'm one of the first to hold my hands up to speeding on main roads and motorways (unless a copper is reading this then I NEVER speed anywhere Sir...), but in towns and on any 30 I always try my best to stick to the limit. Especially knowing the tragedy that took place on that road it really winds me up when people are ragging it down there...
 Share this content via...
Bill Plant   10 #72 Posted January 28, 2015 Well if it winds you up (as it does me) then youll be spitting feathers when i tell you it was a police car. Not the proper blue light ones but the civi ones badged up to look like police cars. Ill be honest i was so anoyed that i rang them up and complained. The guy on the phone was so apologetic and asked me if i wanted to make it official or get someone to have a word with the driver. I went for the second one mainly due to the fact that the road was a bit quiet so in the end no harm done plus im not even sure my car camera would be admissible as evidence on something like this.
