Best camera for £500

Bridge cameras are great for starting out on, but once you get the bug you'll soon find you want a DSLR. Bridge aren't as easy to sell on too, IMO. If I was you I'd jump straight in and get the Nikon D5300 - it's a great choice for the money.

 

Bought my Canon 7D from hdewcameras. No probs whatsoever.

Update guys, i chose the Nikon D5300 and i am very happy with it, although i am still learning what it does, here are a couple of pictures, a kind of thank you for all your help..
