Benefits can't work,won't work

Recommended Posts

Its very simple, you are always going to get benefit scroungers and until they change the system then they will continue to live a career on the dole..If they don't walk then push them

Push them where? I wouldn't have them working for me for all the tea in tescos.

You know what... I'm sick of sitting here and listening to the same rabble of people giving these oxygen thieves reasons to continue their poor lifestyle choices.

Now add into the fact that the 'mum' has defrauded you, me and every other hard working person in this bloody country to the tune of £17,000 which incidentally.. she only has to pay back £19.20 a week...

Sick to the back teeth of people giving these lowlifes reasons to keep living because frankly, they don't deserve it.

I'm still waiting for someone to mention 'poverty porn' tonight...

It appeals to me quite frankly as someone who's had to rebuild their life from scratch after having it destroyed for me back in 2010.. and to become self employed from scratch as to WHY you and the rest or your ilk, will allow people like them.. to suck our finances that we pay into from government coffers?

'Poverty Porn' - not so much actually.

It's the basis of what society has dragged itself down to when let's face it.. 'scum' are allowed to continue in this lifestyle.

Have they earned their bonuses? Do they run the NHS and it's monolithic structure daily?

Then they have earned them frankly.

Is this what we've become now? A society that continually moans about people doing better than us?

I salute you on your efforts to rebuild your life from whatever misfortune befell you.

However I must point out that those on out of work long term benefits who aren't disabled or pensioners is really very small.

There are a great many people who are entitled to benefits but don't claim them.

I had to put the sub-titles on. I don't understand a thing they're saying.

Not with an employer but to do community work,. benefits should be for people who are actively looking for work and this lot are clearly not so make them earn there benefits there is lots of work they could do out there

well well well! theres a suprise the champion of the underclass and pc correctness, i guess your lack of understanding means you havent paid in much income tax to support these wasters??? in fact i wouldn't be surprised if your not one of them?

Your guesses and assumptions are as predictably fanciful and perverse as ever.

You just get off on hating people worse off than you. It's probably because you realise deep down that you're as flawed as they are.

A more positive look at the couple from Sheffield

1. The woman from sheffield did work in a soup kitchen.

2. She went round to check on her elderly neighbours.

2b. She had been signed off for being on sick

3. The man was peeling spuds on a Friday Night for the people who use the food bank, he had been in the army, suffered from PTSD.

Now a days in our country of low wages, hardly anyone pays taxes, and companies like tesco employ people on minimum hours to save having to pay national insurance. A much bigger scandal!

I'd rather have the two people as freinds, than some of the prejudiced people on here as they give up their time out of the goodness of their hearts.

If you really worked out the propaganda Chnannel 5 has set these people up. In my opinion they went round food banks, and asked volunteers for stories.

Hardly anyone pays taxes......

Just to clarify, you said "hardly anyone pays taxes".

Have you given it any thought at all?

Im just saying what George Osborune says, we've lifted so many people out of tax. Maybe an exaggeration, but a lot of people who work are currently not paying taxes, through no fault of their own.

According to the stats my other half pays around £1000 per year towards disability benefits including DLA and PIP.

It sounds a lot until you read down the list and see he also pays his employers £650 and Foreign aid £100+ :)

Takes the wind out of the sails a touch!

Love the comments about people "coming to England for free money".

Seems to me they think not working but being British entitled them to free money simply because of being born here. They didn't seem to be doing much to contribute either regardless of being born here.

I served in the army for 18 years and left two years ago, no excuse for not working. I have worked since, if you use your time in the forces to gain skills and attend the courses available, (and there are many opportunities to do so), you won't have a problem.

The kitchen in the house of the evicted one's was disgusting.
