I hate programmes like that. It appeals to people's base instincts, and does nothing to enrich the cultural life of those who watch it.

Here we go again, can somebody write to Channel 5 and ask them to make a programme about the NHS bosses that have just awarded themselves huge bonuses and drive around in Mercedes "company" cars whilst nurses pay has been frozen.

 

You could take out your anger on some deserving causes if they did.

 

PS - Episode 2 could feature CEO's of companies who offer zero hours contracts.

It's not a case about moaning if someone has done better than someone else, it's a case of why should anyone get a bonus for doing their job whilst in the same industry other people are getting their pay frozen or just getting paid for doing their job with out a bonus, in the same industry, if one gets a bonus ALL should get a bonus, if one has their pay frozen ALL should have their pay frozen. No one is better than anybody else, and P.S, nobody is better than ME.

At least the likes of the NHS bosses contibute something to society in return for their fancy cars and bonuses. What do these set of dobbers contribute? Nothing. They are more than capable of earning a living and making something of themselves but instead they chose to do nothing.

Between the 3 of them (mum, son and son's slightly inappropriately old girlfriend), they are raking in 1.8k a month in benefits, yet they have fallen behind on their rent to the tune of more than 5k. How on earth does that even happen when 3/4 of their rent is paid by the state? They only had to find £125 per month in rent. All 3 of them were smoking like troopers, I wonder how much that costs? The house was an utter mess, filthy. When you do nothing all day along the lines of work, you'd think they'd manage to do a bit of cleaning between the 3 of them. Pathetic, lazy wastes of space the lot of them. And that's without even going into the 17k benefit fraud by mum.

NHS bosses or scrounging, lazy dobbers...I know which of the two lots I prefer.

You know what... I'm sick of sitting here and listening to the same rabble of people giving these oxygen thieves reasons to continue their poor lifestyle choices.

 

Now add into the fact that the 'mum' has defrauded you, me and every other hard working person in this bloody country to the tune of £17,000 which incidentally.. she only has to pay back £19.20 a week...

 

Sick to the back teeth of people giving these lowlifes reasons to keep living because frankly, they don't deserve it.

I'm still waiting for someone to mention 'poverty porn' tonight...

It appeals to me quite frankly as someone who's had to rebuild their life from scratch after having it destroyed for me back in 2010.. and to become self employed from scratch as to WHY you and the rest or your ilk, will allow people like them.. to suck our finances that we pay into from government coffers?

 

'Poverty Porn' - not so much actually.

It's the basis of what society has dragged itself down to when let's face it.. 'scum' are allowed to continue in this lifestyle.

At least the propaganda perpetuated by programmes like these is working on the likes of you.

 

Let me raise another point, energy companies charge obscenely high prices for their services for no other reason than sheer greed, this leads to the Government having to pay pensioners £200 each per annum so they don't freeze to death, this £200 is also taken out of your taxes.

 

Its people like you who allow the real villains to get away scot free.

 

Going back to the families featured they did not defraud anybody, they took money that the system allows them to take, berate the ministers who set up/run the system if you don't agree with it.

When I see this, and I actively try to avoid it, the only thing I think is 'there but for the grace of God' it doesn't push any of my buttons.

Well said. Good on you for building a business from nothing. Thats what annoys me too we blame bankers bonuses yet these people think that benefits are their given right. They are not benefits are there to help to get people back into work not a wage.
