Charlie48 Â Â 10 #1 Posted January 17, 2015 I'm a novice to photography but hope to improve my skills (or even get some basic ones). Â A friend has given me an older DSLR camera, Canon EOS D30. Think it was one of the first DSLRs so getting on a bit. But a lovely camera. Tried it out a few times this week on a couple of walks. Â The lens on it is wide-angled and I'm wondering about getting another couple - maybe something more general and one for close ups!? (Told you I'm a novice). Be grateful for any advice on what to look for, where to buy (local shops or online). Type? What other Canon lens will fit? Â Be really grateful for any advice. Â Many thanks, Charlie.
