MAIN EVENT! BAD INFLUENCE VS THE HUNTER BROTHERS! SOUTHSIDE TAG TEAM TITLE'S ON THE LINE!

https://scontent-lhr.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xap1/v/t1.0-9/11049500_941806599202817_3172634472240011265_n.jpg?oh=bfd0fde649a87c7c5213bbc2ac4d7d7e&oe=55ADC908

The two time former TNA World Tag Team Champions and as of this weekend, current ROH World Tag Team Champions, The Bad Influence of Christopher Daniels and Frankie Kazarian return to Southside after a victory at our sold out, 800 person strong Fourth Year Anniversary show in Stevenage back in October and this time they're coming for the gold.

- Bad Influence send a message to The Hunter Brothers

They sent out the challenge at our Feb 28th show at Circus Tavern and The Hunter Brothers were quick to accept. The Hunters had a long and hard road towards finally winning the Southside Tag Team Title's from The Sumerian Death Squad and had to survive a war against The UK Hooligan's (WWE Diva, Paige's brothers) in order to retain them in their first defense so will not want to relinquish hold of their tag team gold so easily, even if they are facing "The Best Tag Team In The Biz-I-Ness".

QUEEN OF SOUTHSIDE CHAMPIONSHIP ON THE LINE FOR THE FIRST TIME! KAY LEE RAY DEFENDS AGAINST TONI STORM AND VIPER!

https://fbcdn-sphotos-f-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-xpf1/v/t1.0-9/10989148_941806749202802_7299934411433750886_n.jpg?oh=8fa743c1baa4dccf3e066517e2aeb177&oe=55A72E4B&__gda__=1437125665_bd65b350de9bbaf40a556ec329cbdd6e

TNA British Bootcamp 2 finalist, Kay Lee Ray was one of the most beloved stars on the Southside roster. But she betrayed the Southside faithful at our first show of 2015 when she joined Joseph Conners' Righteous Army. That move paid dividends at Circus Tavern when she became the very first Queen Of Southside Champion. Her success has not stopped there as she is currently in America where she won SHIMMER's ChickFight tournament the day before WrestleMania in California and will this weekend challenge for the SHIMMER Championship. When she returns to Southside and England she will put the Queen Of Southside title belt on the line for the very first time against two wrestlers debuting for Southside, Viper and Toni Storm. The animosity between Kay Lee and Toni Storm turned physical very quickly as Kay Lee attacked Storm backstage and the incident was captured on camera.

FORMER LONGEST REIGNING SOUTHSIDE CHAMPION OF ALL TIME VERSUS WXW'S 16 CARAT 2015 TOURNAMENT WINNER! A BITTER FEUD FOR 15 MONTHS COMES TO AN END IN SHEFFIELD! MARK HASKINS VS TOMMY END!

https://fbcdn-sphotos-f-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-xpf1/v/t1.0-9/11074442_953305881386222_5159183396490970181_n.jpg?oh=2f4d96fda402f15156e13376b9f4deb2&oe=55B0B6F0&__gda__=1436564378_35f5350ca10b3f4d60eaec9f25ea5cc9

In what will be their third and final singles encounter, Mark Haskins will face Tommy End in a battle of two of the best wrestler's in the world. Haskins spent 490 days as Southside Heavyweight Champion with victories over WWE signee, Uhaa Nation, former WWE star, Trent Barreta, TNA British Bootcamp 2 winner, Mark Andrews, WWE NXT wrestler, Finn Balor (As Prince Devitt), former ROH World Heavyweight Champion, Roderick Strong, former TNA X-Division Champion, DJ Z and many others but the one man he was never able to beat was Tommy End as both of their previous singles matches ended in DQ's. This will be their sixth match in total along with two tag team matches, and the three-way Southside Championship match in which Haskins lost his belt to Robbie X (without being pinned) but neither man has ever managed to pin or submit the other. This will all change on Sunday the 10th of May.

TAG TEAM MATCH INVOLVING SOUTHSIDE HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION! X-TRA LUCHA VERSUS THE RIGHTEOUS ARMY!

https://fbcdn-sphotos-e-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-xaf1/v/t1.0-9/11078100_955857474464396_6961126775357267080_n.jpg?oh=c5ec0d4a5ca806b41a636d5ecdb75fb7&oe=55E5F61C&__gda__=1437940397_b61790efe94992af3d48c5797de27367

On Sunday the 1st of March, Robbie X's dreams came true when he won the Southside Heavyweight Championship and became the 9th champion. But that dream soon turned into a nightmare when The Righteous Army of Jimmy Havoc, Kay Lee Ray and The Pledge all attacked him to set him up for Joseph Conners to cash in last years Money In The Bank briefcase to quickly pin him to become the new Southside Heavyweight Champion. The two will meet again in singles contest for the belt at our Stevenage show on Sunday (the 12th of April and only 50 tickets remain before another 800 sell out!) but regardless of the outcome of that title match, the two will face off again in a tag team match as Robbie X will partner El Ligero (another man who has cause against Conners and his Righteous Army) to take on Conners and The Pledge.

HIGH FLYING FOUR-WAY BETWEEN FOUR OF THE BEST CRUISERWEIGHT WRESTLER'S IN THE WORLD! JAPANESE STAR, CURRY MAN VS RYAN SMILE VS BT GUNN VS MARTIN KIRBY!

https://scontent-lhr.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xpf1/v/t1.0-9/10478185_958147514235392_8002713286350588758_n.jpg?oh=d7b3edecc74aeda9da7a266552632711&oe=55B31DA8

On Sunday the 10th of May we will see one of Southside's trademark incredible, match stealing four-way matches as former NJPW and TNA star, Curry Man takes on the former longest reigning Southside Speed King Champion, Martin Kirby, former ICW Heavyweight Champion, BT Gunn and Ryan Smile! When we made this match we sent the graphic over to all four competitors for them to confirm but one of them gave us a very confusing reply. Curry Man, in his broken english, thanked us for finally putting him in the ring against Christopher Daniels. With Christopher Daniels in the main event of our debut at Sheffield Corporation as part of Bad Influence to face The Hunter Brothers for the Southside Tag Team title's (Providing they retain against The Young Bucks in Stevenage), we were confused why Curry Man was under the impression he was facing Daniels. We went back to him to inform him that he was facing Martin Kirby, BT Gunn and Ryan Smile and after a long delay he finally replied with "BT Gunn - Ryan Smile - Christopher Daniels???". Finally realizing Curry Man's mistake we put the record straight that Martin Kirby was not Christopher Daniels although they both do share the same hair stylist. With this knowledge Curry Man then said to Southside management he would beat Martin Kirby as badly as he would to his hated enemy, Christopher Daniels.

The bad blood in this match that is not in the one person's head is between BT Gunn and Ryan Smile as at our last Sheffield show, Smile beat Gunn in the opening contest after he pulled the tights. Gunn was making his Southside debut and while he won over the crowd, he unfortunately didn't win the match. The referee's decision on the night is final but we at Southside do have to agree with Gunn when he argued that Smile cheated to win the match and may not have beat Gunn otherwise. When we agreed for Gunn to make his return to Southside, he was consumed with the need for redemption and asked if it was possible in anyway for him to face Smile again. While we didn't give him a singles rematch, Gunn was ecstatic with the match we proposed as not only does he get his chance to face Smile again, he also gets the chance to face the longest reigning former Southside Speed King Champion of all time, Martin Kirby and a man who held the IWGP Jnr Heavyweight Tag Team Championship with Daniel Bryan in New Japan Pro Wrestling in Curry Man.

With four of the best cruiserweights in the world today in the one match this will be fast moving, hard hitting and high flying and a showcase of the Speed King division, Europe's premier junior heavyweight division. Sheffield may not know what hit it when Curry Man wages war against Martin Kirby for reasons we still don't understand and BT Gunn aims to avenge the loss to Smile the last time we were in Sheffield.

------

All this plus much more as we return to Sheffield for our biggest show there yet. Sheffield Corporation have been a joy to work with and a real professional outfit as we bring wrestling to Corp for the very first time in a venue that will be able to seat up to 500 fans of all ages!

We have something truly special lined up on Sunday the 10th of May and hope to see you there.

RING OF HONOR WORLD TAG TEAM TITLE'S ON THE LINE FOR THE FIRST TIME IN YORKSHIRE!

In a shocking series events over the past few weeks, The Addiction of Christopher Daniels and Frankie Kazarian laid claim to the ROH World Tag Team Championships with the assist of Southside roster member, Chris Sabin. And then last night The Hunter Brothers lost the Southside Tag Team Title's to The Righteous Army of Southside Heavyweight Champion, Joseph Conners and Jimmy Havoc in a three-way open challenge match that also featured The London Riots. We are very disappointed to no longer be able to present a Southside Tag Team Title match in Sheffield as was originally announced. But we are delighted that after only a brief discussion with Daniels and Kaz, The Addiction have agreed to put their ROH World Tag Team Title's on the line against The Hunter Brothers in the main event of Risky Business on Sunday the 10th of May!

This will be the very first time the ROH World Tag Team Title's have ever been defended in Yorkshire. Since winning the belts from reDRagon in Baltimore at the beginning of the month, The Addiction are yet to defend them so this will be one of the first opportunities to see them put their gold on the line live and in person. But don't for a second think this will be an easy defense for Daniels and Kaz. The Hunter Brothers won the Southside Tag Team Championships in a battle against The Sumerian Death Squad and survived fights against The UK Hooligans and The Young Bucks in order to retain those belts before eventually being cheated out of them. One of the last times that the ROH World Tag Team Title's were defended in England saw a title change in Liverpool when Dragon Gate's Shingo Takagi and Naruki Doi managed to dethrone The Briscoe Brothers. So this would not be the first time to see an upset and see international talent win the ROH World Tag Team Championships on foreign soil from the defending champions.

We have a stacked line up for our return to Sheffield for Risky Business on Sunday the 10th of May that also includes Mark Haskins vs Tommy End for one last encounter and Kay Lee Ray defending the Queen Of Southside Championship for the very first time. Doors are at 3pm, show starts at 4pm with an estimated finish of 7-7.30pm for travelling fans. This is an all ages show with child tickets starting from £10 and adults at £12 and limited front row still remains. Tickets are on sale now at: http://www.southsidewrestling.co.uk/shop

STIXX VS TYLER BATE!

https://fbcdn-sphotos-d-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-xpt1/v/t1.0-9/11059486_973184982731645_3692782893978156801_n.jpg?oh=2721f6d3c88c46e7542c9956372c1139&oe=559BCCF3&__gda__=1439595767_aef34234161317b3b1831d4a6dc5f2dc

At our last show of 2014, Tyler Bate went toe to toe against a huge challenge in the form of former WWE NXT wrestler and former PWG World Heavyweight Champion, Chris Hero. Whilst Bate was unsuccessful in that match, he showed he could pit himself against the very best in the world and more than hold his own. At our last show in Camberley he went one on one with a former TNA World Heavyweight Champion in Chris Sabin and, while again he didn't win the match, he showed our debut audience in Camberley and the entire world that he could face off against international talent and at only 18 years of age this year, he shows promise to be one of the best wrestler's in England one day.

Facing a strong challenge much closer to home, for our Sheffield return on Sunday the 10th of May he will face the two time former Southside Heavyweight Champion in "The Heavyweight House Of Pain" Stixx! Stixx's matches against Mark Haskins, Pete Dunne and Robbie X helped push each man to their limits and regardless as to whether they won or lost those matches, anyone who has stepped in the ring with Stixx will admit that he has brought out the best in them and made them a better wrestler as a result. Now with Stixx in the running towards a third Southside Heavyweight Championship reign as he chases Joseph Conners, he will be a true test for Tyler Bate as Bate attempts to begin his ascent towards the Heavyweight Championship. Bate is still the last man to pin Conners before he won that belt.

PETE DUNNE VS STEVIE BOY!

https://scontent-lhr.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xap1/v/t1.0-9/10660297_972659016117575_8454436787729401414_n.jpg?oh=730f3effd2751ecc974ba024cc963a10&oe=559D857A

The 7th contest announced for our return to Sheffield on Sunday the 10th of May at Corporation is a first time ever match between "Dynamite" Pete Dunne and Stevie Boy! Stevie makes only his third Southside appearence and was last seen at our previous Sheffield show in a losing effort to Jimmy Havoc in a four-way match that also featured Mark Andrews and Robbie X. His Southside debut in March last year was also a losing effort as he and Grado lost against Project Ego. Stevie Boy is hoping that it's third time lucky for himself and Sheffield as well as he takes on a man he has never faced in the ring before. As part of The Bucky Boys and Just Uz he has seen success as a tag team wrestler, holding tag team gold in three major Scottish promotions but it's only recently that he has achieved success as a singles wrestler, winning ICW's Zero G Championship last week, his very first singles title. Stevie Boy would be a natural fit for the Southside Speed King division but if he wants to guarantee a return visit, he needs to start winning matches.

Pete Dunne couldn't be a worse opponent for Stevie at such a crucial stage. Stevie needs the victory but then so does Dunne. Pete has a 1-1 singles record so far in 2015 suffering defeat against Will Ospreay when he challenged for the Southside Speed King Championship at our debut show in Bedford but he was successful in beating Soldier Ant and being the first man to score a singles victory over him this year just two weekends ago. With Speed King 2015 the next show after Sheffield, any and all momentum will be crucial heading into the biggest show of the year for one of Europe's biggest annual tournaments. Going alone into this show due to his brothers prior commitments, Pete Dunne will have rely on himself and himself only as two wrestlers more well known for tag team wrestling attempt to find singles success. But in two weeks time the question will be - Which one wants it more?

Tickets are on sale for "Risky Business" right now from: http://www.southsidewrestling.co.uk/shop

Don't forget doors are at 3pm with a show start of 4pm and estimated show finish of 7pm. This show is all ages, has great transport links for all travelling fans and plenty of street parking around the venue which will be cheap as it is a Sunday.

This event is just 12 days away now. We are beyond excited to work with Sheffield Corporation and can't wait to debut in that iconic venue. Our first show was a sell out. Our second show was a top to bottom fantastic show. We think that with this third Sheffield show we will top both of them as we present to you the very best wrestling you will see in the UK if not the world.
