The only road over the Peaks closed because of snow is the A54 near Macc:

A54 Bosley, both ways between A523 and A537

A54 Cheshire - A54 closed between Bosley Crossroads in Bosley and the A537 junction in Buxton, because of snow.

Severe - Updated 6 minutes ago

Anyone know if the Snake is currently open?

AA roadwatch doesn't say it's closed, but then it didn't last week when it was.

And BBC roadwatch maps aren't loading.

It was open on Thursday, a colleague from Glossop used it to get to work. So I expect it's still open now.

Is this an SF record, only 26 posts since 04-03-2006 and still going?
