Describing someone as "asian" is not very helpful at all, given that asia is huge continent of approx 4.4 billion people covering 51 countries. Not really specific is it?! No User Name   10 #55 Posted January 16, 2015 Get off your high horse, please. Describing someone as "asian" is not very helpful at all  I'm sure it is in a country where 80% (or so) of the population is white
 Share this content via...

hyper   10 #58 Posted January 16, 2015 The way people are going on you would think the person purposely hit the person head-on, and then reversed over her a few times for good measure. Shall we bring back the birch for the lady in the car as well, whilst we are at it? Accidents happen, ffs Accident is bad fluke. This is either (at best) incompetent driving and unawareness of what happened, in which case she ought not to be driving or speeding/reckless driving Both these do not make her necessarily a bad person  However, being unable/unwilling to accept responsibility for what has happened and to go back and help is inexcuseable.  It would be interesting to see if you would be so blasé had it been your child she hit
 Share this content via...
Agent Orange   11 #59 Posted January 16, 2015 (edited) Like this is.   Of course it is helpful, how stupid of you to say otherwise.  Asia is a continent of 51 countries where the appearance of the people vary greatly. She could match the appearance of someone from any one of those countries so no, it's not very helpful. hyper   10 #60 Posted January 16, 2015 Asia is a continent of 51 countries where the appearance of the people vary greatly. She could match the appearance of someone from any of those countries so no, it's not very helpful. each element of description eliminates a mass of people from finding a potential suspect. It's basic logic and forms the first line of enquiry.  So from the post we have lady (that eliminates all the men) Asian (that eliminates all those not of Asian appearance) Golf (that eliminates everyone not owning a golf Blue (eliminates all Non-blue Golfs as the vehicle)  So we now have less than a few billion people who might be first line suspects.
