Oh I see I'm not allowed to comment on a blades thread .so sorry sir I will try and remember my place in the future.And of course I also apologise for having a different opinion to yours .

 

Not at all Gazza dear boy, I find myself in agreement with you more often than is quite right, given your perverse affiliation.

 

But you have to admit that there have been a number of Owls having a dig on the forum lately, and it has coincided with your lot being knocked out and us lot reaching a second semi in two seasons and knocking out a couple of Premier clubs.

 

Coincidence? I think not.

 

Personally I think we'll probably be out of both cups after the next rounds.

 

Would fancy our chances against Spurs in a one off game, Southampton are currently above them and the scoreline flattered the Saints.

 

But home and away against a Prem team? Much as I'd love to believe I don't see it happening.

 

And Deepdale hasn't exactly been a happy hunting ground for us over the years, a draw at best and we could do without the extra game.
