It is looking good.

Met Office weather forecast for Saturday is currently: "mainly fine and dry with sunny spells".

The Drone Valley IPA will be at a number of venues to try and the Royal Oak will have a one off exclusive festival special from Dronfield Brewery. The full beer list now runs to about 200 beers and the cider/perry list is looking like a choice of about 50. On the live music front about 40 different acts to see. Also quite a variety of food.

The beers at the Miners Arms (Dronfield Woodhouse) and Royal Oak are now added to the list online and the bands at Barlow Brewery are now online too.

Still awaiting details of beer/cider from the Jolly Farmer and Coach & Horses.

All the lists, timetables and info is at http://www.threevalleysfestival.org.uk.

Yes, sunny and dry, 15C - pleasant to drink outside but not unbearably hot - perfect!

It is looking like it will be a great festival and well attended, if you arrive in Dronfield by train and find a queue for the buses we have plenty of buses but also don't forget some of the venues are walkable from the station!

Hi Andy

Thanks for you info. Really looking forward to the festival on Saturday. First time I've been and don't know the area well.

Is there a map anywhere with the pubs on? I'm trying to plan a route to walk between pubs as I dot want to mess around with buses but I am not sure of distances or where the pubs actually are.

Could you perhaps suggest a good walkable route taking in 5 or 6 pubs starting and finishing at Dronfield Station?

Any help appreciated

If you get off at Dronfield station, turn to your right and follow people.

At the first roundabout (with the post office), look up the hill - not the leafy hill, but the one with the big white building on it..... That's the Beer Stop.

If still at the roundabout, follow the road under the rail bridge and you will be at the Dronfield Arms,. The White Swan is almost across the road. If you have walked more than 5 minutes since leaving the station - you are going the wrong way.

If you HAVE gone the wrong way, keep walking and you will end up at the Coach and Horses.

From the Coach and Horses, go over the bridge and around to the left, and follow the road. At the roundabout, look right and there is the Victoria Inn.

After a drink there, go back to the roundabout. walk past Sainsbury's and take the downhill fork at the next roundabout. Keep walking and you will find the Manor House.

Further Down the hill, there is the Green Dragon. If you carry on past the Green dragon, turn right at the T-intersection, stop withdraw more money from the ATM and follow the road around. When it forks again, take the left and you will be at the White Swan. Across from that is the Dronfield Arms, then the Beer Stop and back to the station.

A lot of people will be walking, so just attach yourself to a group and you'll be right.

the route (in either direction) is about 2 1/2 miles.
