Anyone driving out in this must be crazy.  Exactly, and it was raining before it snowed so most of it will have been washed away. They can only do so much, though they should have saved most of their man power to plough and grit through the night (you'd hope they have?).  We are in the middle of a mass of snow, mostly falling about 4mm per hour but anything up to 2" per hour in flurries. Hard to tell what is behind that as it is not snowing over the Irish Sea much but instead is waiting until landfall before it starts to snow, so at the moment we aren't getting much warning at all about what it will be like beyond 1 hour in front.
