milliardo   10 #986 Posted January 21, 2015 For everyone that hasn't got winter tyres, really invest in a pair of snow socks. We forgot we had some in the boot, but used them this morning and we sailed up our fairly steep hill where others couldn't even get a metre. Got up to the clear and gritted main road, pulled in a lay-by, whacked them off and whizzed off to work.
 Share this content via...

Daven   10 #996 Posted January 21, 2015 I can't believe how clear it is on the cameras. I'm at Lodgemoor and I'd say we have 7-8 inches of snow at the moment.  Similar here. The cameras only cover the major roads which will have been gritted . If you live at the top of one of the 7 hills of Sheffield you will always cop it. I've got to set off for my shift at NGH soon and not relishing the drive not to mention what I will face when my shift has finished.
