Basalt   10 #25 Posted December 7, 2014 Actually there are some floodlights and uplighters at the base of the TH. They just aren't on at night. What should be lit up is the Wicker Arch bridge as I've mentioned several times on SF.
 Share this content via...
detheridge02 Â Â 10 #26 Posted December 8, 2014 It's the same at the station which is never lit up, nor the tram bridge over park square roundabout. Wicker Arch used to be lit up but is now suffering from neglect again with weeds and trees growing out of it and the bulbs long since blown. If the lights are there just switch them on already!  Doubt Town Hall will be illuminated, that'd cost money!  Area in front of the railway station is the council's responsibility. Thousands of people pass through there daily, but the street lighting there has only just come back on after months - But it still feels very dark. Ousetunes   10 #30 Posted November 15, 2018 SCC have their priorities all messed up. The Crooked Spire in Chesterfield is always lit up in the evening and it looks amazing. At the least the 'crooked' bit is apt with SCC:hihi:
 Share this content via...
Foot   10 #31 Posted November 15, 2018 Surley they can fit LED bulbs that cost next to nothing You can't just retro-fit an LED lamp into a street lighting unit like you would a table lamp at home. It would mean replacing the whole unit, which wouldn't cost next to nothing.
 Share this content via...
