Depression can affect anyone male female, young old ,rich poor .  So sorry he couldn't bring himself to tell someone how low he was feeling . R.I.P young man . Condolences to his family and friends . I know I've suffered with it a lot and tried to take my own life a couple of times. So very sad .  Thank you.  They often cannot communicate with family about it. Going to a total stranger will usually make them feel more depressed.
