Does anyone remember Bone Cravens (not the trailer company). I worked there in the late seventies. I was a good place to work all in all. The people who worked there were great for the most part.

If anybody remembers working there please post your memories.

Worked @ Bone Cravens in the 70's as a Miller/horizontal borer on gidding &lewis borers one sited at the side of Arthur Taylor's office (machine shop foreman) and lastly

the other sited in the assembly shop where the hpm's were built next to the Wadkin

having some great times with the lads brilliant place to work. Can anybody remember

any of the machinist that worked there?

I was an apprentice fitter/turner there from 1968 - 1977. I built every size of injection moulding machines from 200Tons (pressure) to 2000 Tons.  Worked  under foremen Gordon Baxter and Georgie Gott (Gottie). Happy days!

Had a good mate called Keith Parkin who was a turner in the bottom machine shop.
