It is an awful place.

Been in twice, both times on Saturdays. It is supposed to be an Indie Bar, but only ever plays cheesy 80's music like Kylie Minogue and Bros.

It won't last too long, there is never anybody in.

Obvious Spiers works there, so the opinion is not very valuable.

Doesn't sound much like The Greenroom to me. (They have a pretty credible music policy and are a proper independent bar)

Maybe it was just the Saturday night I went in but they played decent music for the hour I was in there

The Green Room is one of the best bars in town, just wish the toilets were better (the wife won't use them) so we only ever stay an hour or so, then go somewhere where the 'facilities' are fit for humans to use.....

I had really high hopes for Maida Vale. Been in a few times because I really wanted it to work, a proper bar playing decent music in a good location.

However, doing 2 for 1 on watered down cocktails and playing cheesy 80's rubbish (bang across from already established identipubs) just won't cut it.

Shame.
