Travelling to the town centre the other day from Mosborough in our car we always go through Ridgeway to cross Norton Avenue then onto Gleadless Road!.In my opinion from its start there up to Meersbrook the worst surfaced road in Sheffield, its a patchwork of filled in uneven tarmac its whole length!.Considering how busy it is its a disgrace, can anybody come up with a stretch of highway in our city that is worse,I doubt it but you never know!.:confused:

Must agree with you Old Tup because I travel on that road quite a bit and it is a real boneshaker.

Agreed. For a major road it's a disgrace.

Rivelin Valley Road is pretty bad at the moment.

Also if driving from Glossop to Sheffield before you get to Rivelin Valley Road there's a bend on Snake Pass with a sunken manhole in just the wrong place, did a nasty skid in the wet due to it (and maybe going slightly too quick).

Agreed, as if the speed bumps don't ruin your suspension enough.
