Sierra   22 #25 Posted November 12, 2014 In fact its a good idea... Instead of finding time to eat 3 meals a day, with this '' heart stopper'' you are only going to need to find time to demolish one of these beasts. More time for the important things in life  Sweet Jesus, you wouldn't have to eat for a week after downing that!  There is something very Homer Simpsonesque about this.  Meh, it's just a publicity stunt by the pub to get attention. Stan Tamudo   10 #26 Posted November 12, 2014 how about the restaurants that have all you can eat options?  I've never been to one. What are they like?
 Share this content via...

taxman   12 #29 Posted November 12, 2014 I wish people would stop trying to tell others what they can or cannot eat.   Everyone gets the same information...we all know a carrot is healthier than a Greggs sausage roll. As Long as information is given then people are at liberty to accept it or reject it.  I had several beers and a pizza last week...meh, I'll rectify that situation by eating broccoli and doing more exercise another time. alchresearch   214 #30 Posted November 13, 2014 (edited) I've never been to one. What are they like?  Terrible. Especially Taybarns. You'll see people pile up their plates several inches high.  I don't think they understand the concept of taking a little, eating it, then going back for more.  ---------- Post added 13-11-2014 at 09:54 ----------  I've just been doing some Googling. A large mixed grill at Wetherspoons is 1983 calories. Then add in an extra 220 for the pint of beer. Their "gourmet burger" (with chips) is 1496 calories.  Or at a Chinese buffet place - a portion of twelve deep-fried chicken balls in sweet and sour sauce can have up to 1,950 calories.  So in the grand scheme of things, the 1996 calorie burger isn't that bad. ANGELFIRE1 Â Â 10 #31 Posted November 13, 2014 Looks good to me. No one is force feeding these burgers down anyone's throat, it's a personal decision if you wish to scoff one. Â Angel1 Â ps. Hope they come with chips.
 Share this content via...
