Elizabeth13 Â Â 10 #13 Posted November 9, 2014 (edited) Ignore them. I've been there. Police came round and said there was no evidence and inconsistent info. So nothing happened. Â Edit: obviously my dog hadn't bit anyone btw. My neighbour is a malicious person Edited November 10, 2014 by Elizabeth13
 Share this content via...
NewBiz   10 #14 Posted November 10, 2014 My next door neighbour's dog did bite a teenage girl (and in truth he'd bitten before but it hadn't been reported) The Police were called and they said that a dog was allowed 'one bite' as long as it wasn't a mauling obviously, and nothing more was said. It was about 10 yrs ago so don't know if the law has changed but I doubt it.  Personally I wouldn't worry about it, it sounds like a non event to me. denlin   12 #15 Posted November 10, 2014 Hi PT, if you have made a complaint agaiinst this carer, why did they send her to your home again? I'd be asking this question to the company concerned and get advice from your local CAB
 Share this content via...

Dogs who run at visitors, dogs who bark, growl or jump up are all potentially breaking the law too, and risk being seized and put to sleep. denlin   12 #20 Posted November 10, 2014 I would ask the people who you are complaining to why she was sent or came to your house while a complaint is active
 Share this content via...
Cyclone   10 #21 Posted November 10, 2014 It's malice, Andrejuan, in my opinion. I made a complaint about this person/ the company she works for, and it's my belief this is retaliation for my complaint.  Make another complaint to her employer and the police about the false accusation.  And without an injury, she's going to have trouble proving that anything happened (ie she can't).
