Ipods likely to increase/decrease in price nearer to Xmas?

Recommended Posts

Does anyone know if the i-pod touch is likely to increase or decrease (or remain the same) in price as Christmas draws closer?

Remain the same, Apple don't do discounts.

They stopped making the Classic, apparently they couldn't get parts or something??

Apple DO do discounts http://store.apple.com/uk/browse/home/specialdeals/ipod

Some shops may do deals around xmas including iTunes vouchers with iPods, I got my dad an iPod Touch last xmas with a £25 voucher included.

That's interesting, can you buy one of those from the store or do you have to order them online?

Apple refurbs are great - they have new batteries and casing and a full 1 year warranty - brilliant way to save money.

The other thing to look out for are Black Friday deals (28th November) - Apple do this and you will be able to pick up an iPod in store discounted by about 10%.
