Mimi83 Â Â 10 #4 Posted October 26, 2014 Watching this with interest. Is Wing Chun suitable for women as well? I have always wanted to learn some practical form of self-defense and wondering if this would be something that female beginners might be able to learn? Millhouses99   10 #6 Posted October 27, 2014 Mimi83, Wing chun was said to have been invented by a woman, but if you look at most videos on YouTube you would not really think so.  I am starting a new class teaching Wing Chun at Ecclesall Parish Halls on Thursday 20th November. There will a free demo and lesson and we will be able to answer any questions you have.  The method we teach is entirely suitable for women as it relies on relaxation and proper use of body mass.
