Does anyone have any details of arrangements at The Fat Cat this year?

They don't have a bonfire or fireworks at the Fat Cat any more, although there is usually a do of some kind.

There is also of course the big After Dark event at Don Valley Bowl on 5th November.

Yellow route trams (Middlewood-City-Meadowhall) stop right outside the Don Valley Bowl (Arena tram stop) and extra trams will run for the event. For tram info see http://www.supertram.com.

After Dark Tickets - £10 adults, £5 children

Open from 5:30pm to 10pm (bonfire lit 7:30pm, fireworks 9pm)

- Heart Live Music Stage

- Bonfire

- Food Stalls

- Giant Funfair

- Fireworks set to music.

Anyone going this year? Not been for about 5 years, but it was good back then, hopefully its just as good these days. Been trying to find out if there are any "bands" or live music, but can't seem to find anything about stuff like that? Last time i went i remember x factor contestants there, well, the rejects anyway!

I heard they not doing it this year i think it's due to lack of funding... I've never been but heard it's very good, was going to go this year...

The event is definitely on. Can't comment on the bands, but the event is certainly running.
