Personally, I prefer DJs who play two or three tracks, tell the listeners what they were, and then play three more tracks, with very little chat in-between, apart from anecdotes about the musicians or the tracks they've played.

 

If I'd had the pleasure of hearing Wolfman Jack, I'm sure he'd have figured up there too.

I sometimes listen to Chris Evans but in the 90s it was Nick Abbott - where is he now?

 

I wanted to listen to Chris Tarrant but couldn't access Capitol Radio

 

I'm not keen on the chit-chat which goes on where the resident DJ natters to a whole lot of backroom staff for too long.

I agree on the first bold, I hate it when a DJ plays something new, that you like and then never says who it is by!
