Drat! I was going to suggest Dempseys club at the bottom of the Moor, where if you have a membership card and pay the admission fee after 10pm you can get a selection of food and coffee at the downstairs bar for a good couple of hours past midnight every day of the week.

Most casinos do cheap/free food and you don't have to gamble if you don't want ! Usually quiet enough for a conversation too ... failing that there are still a few late opening truckers stops in laybys etc depends where you are and if you are prepared to travel.

Everything seems to close by 8pm, McDonalds does stay open but isn't it only the drive thru after midnight ?

I would also suggest McDonalds. The one I sometimes go to in Sheffield is by the Morrisons entrance-(Penistone road) 24hour opening inside. Never used the drive thru so don`t know if that part is also 24hrs.

You can go in the one near Sheffield College (across the road from Pure Gym) at all hours of the night.
