999tigger   10 #2 Posted September 19, 2014 It was to be expected. If it was that bad then dont be surprised if they track the people down and prosecute. Twitter should make it easier to delete people.
 Share this content via...

muddywolf   10 #8 Posted September 19, 2014 i dont use twatter  Alot of people don't, you don't need to notify everyone (like you do on facebook threads).   Back on topic, everyone gets abuse every day on some site or other, I think some 'famous' personalities only go on them so they can make a fuss when and feel hard done to when the 0.1% of public posts something negative about them. Mecky   10 #10 Posted September 20, 2014 Murray has an off button on his laptop I would gather?  Whether he does or not is irrelevant, it does not solve the problem; people will still bad mouth an individual whether or not they know about it. CPC464   10 #11 Posted September 20, 2014 (edited) who'd have a twitter account in these days of the troll?! it's just asking for trouble  It's the way a lot of people communicate, get news, keep in touch.  He shouldn't be excluded from using it because of idiots who abuse him.  That's like saying who'd have a car because car thieves exist - they are the problem, not him.  ---------- Post added 20-09-2014 at 07:58 ----------  i dont use twatter  But you do this, which is in effect the same idea - a social network.  I bet you would be good on Twitter Mel - you have a radio show to promote, you could share what you are listening to (which is he only reason I ever check out that thread) - go on @melthebell !
