The shootings in Maine bring the total of mass shootings in the USA to 565 so far this year.

I saw a Democrat Congressman on tv this morning stating that something has to be done to stop such killings by people using automatic & semi-automatic weapons & people are crying out for action on ordinary people being able to get their hands on assault rifles. 

 

Well there's a Democrat in the White House & as far as I know, he, as well as all previous US Presidents could sign an Executive Order today to prevent sales of high caliber assault rifles. 

 

Those who want guns could still have hand guns so they could still have their constitutional nonsense & have 'The right bear arms.'

There are multiple victims after a shooting at New Hampshire Hospital in Concord, New Hampshire State Police said Friday.

 

New Hampshire Hospital is an acute psychiatric hospital.

 

The Department of Homeland Security and Management said police are currently on scene.

Well if President after President, both Democrat & Republican are happy to let the average US citizen go & buy military grade weaponry, then the killings will continue.

An EO is an instruction to government departments under executive branch control, it is not law and cannot contravene existing law.

 

Sales of high caliber assault rifles are legal, the only way that can change is via Congress.

Fortunately, the earlier reports of multiple victims were premature (the article you posted a link to has been updated). There was only one victim, a security guard. The gunman was shot by a state trooper.

Thats good news. We'll obviously not for the security guard but at least it's not a mass shooting 👍
