The problem is where to park, because it's going to be mobbed.

Sheffield. Park somewhere up near Strines and walk up from there, it's a decent hike but well worth it

Make sure the weather will ok though. The spitfire can't take off if the wind is over 15 knots or fly if it's raining. I suspect the Lancaster might be even more sensitive - the two Lancaster flying in tandem was cancelled a few times.

From past experience, will the planes fly all the way down over Ladybower Reservoir and Dam as well as Derwent?

It says they are heading back to RAF Coningsby after, anyone on here know if that means they will be heading back over Sheffield?

 

My knowledge of flight plans and routes isn't the best...
