Sheff’s Kitchen

Recommended Posts

A fantastic opportunity to celebrate all that is great about food… growing it, cooking it and of course eating it.

Whirlow Hall Farm Trust invites you to join us on a new fundraising venture for 2014…

Sheff’s Kitchen

If you can’t stand the heat, get out of the kitchen!

Two of the cities most recognised chefs; Lee Mangles from Silversmiths Restaurant and Simon Ayres from the Showrrom Café Bar will be going head to head to win your votes in the ultimate cook off for charity. Who will be crowned the winner?... YOU decide.

A set menu from each team will be judged by YOU the diner in our pop up restaurant at Sheffield Hallam University on Saturday 25th October 2014. You will enjoy a delicious three course meal and score each dish during the evening to find our ultimate winner.

With interactive scoring equipment, a live feed directly into the kitchen and Gordon Ramsay (look-a-like) on hand to turn up the heat; this is sure to be one of the most memorable restaurant experiences you have ever had!

It’s going be one hell of a fight…who will be crowned victorious? BOOK YOUR TICKETS TODAY and join us to find out.

All produce will be sourced at Whirlow Hall Farm, therefore local, high welfare and above all tasty ingredients will be on each menu. Staying true to Whirlow’s ethos of using all the animal from snout to tail; the chefs will have to be creative when the ingredients is revealed to them to create their winning menu.

50% of the diners will eat from the red kitchen sponsored by MCT and 50% from the black kitchen sponsored by Wosskow Brown, both menus will be revealed on the night. Vegetarian options are available by booking in advance.

This event is designed to bring out the fun in fundraising and also showcase the great talent we have in our city. We want to show off Whirlow’s fantastic produce, raise awareness of our charity and bring everyone together for a good old nosh up.

All funds raised from this event will go to Whirlow Hall Farm Trust to ensure we can continue to deliver our unique opportunities to the children and young people of Sheffield.
