Looker   10 #1 Posted September 13, 2014 Ive just started knitting again after many years. A babys jacket. seems easy enough. but i m stuck because the pattern tells me i should have 22 stitches, which luckily i have after a couple of decreasing rows, now the next line reads, p0{0;2;0;0;3;0},k0 {0;1;0;1;1;0}, p0{3;3;1;3:3;2:}, (k1,p1,k1,p1) all into next stitch, (p3:k1:p3{k1:,p1,k1,p1) all into next stitch) 2{2:2:3:3:3:}times, p3, k1,p1. Now in my judgement this adds up to 23 stitches. What do I do here please? Any advice. I m doing the first size. HELP
 Share this content via...
rachelg   10 #2 Posted September 14, 2014 I got 22 stitches....  Taking out all the bits for larger sizes, I made it...  P0 K0 P0 (K1,p1,k1,p1)into next stitch. (1stitch)  P3, k1, p3 (7 stitches) (K1,p1,k1,p1) into next st (1stitch) These last 2 bits repeated -so another 8 stitches  P3,k1,p1 (5 stitches)  So:1+7+1+8+5=22  Does that seem right?
