Pete has been to the hospital today to see if he is fit enough to survive the ordeal of an operaration.Unfourtunetly shortly after the tests begun he suffered dizziness and shortage of breath. This resulted in the anethesist making the decision that he would most proberly not survive an operation .He has now been referred to the ENT dept to see what other options may be available.

Really sorry to hear that, hope they can help him in some other way.

I presume he's at the Northern General?

If so, he couldn't be in better hands, they have one of the best coronary units in the country as I know from personal experience.

Give him my best wishes also.
