Have you tried Picture Sheffield? Its a large archive available online with hundreds of photos of old Sheffield.

I was born on South Street, Park District. When I say this I'm told it's Parkhill. NO IT ISN"T. x

Somewhere I have a photo of the old park school take just before they demolished it in the 60s.It was taken from the top of the flats.

My dad always got told he was a park lad

 

That was ye park areas not park hill he was born on old street

In my younger day s I loved it ''down The Park'' , we would go to the baths, then the pie shop, and walk down The Park to town, everyone was so friendly.
