The bodyshop opened up about 1965 with an Irish bloke called Bob Procter. He then co-ersed me Steve Butler as an apprentice. Later, Brian arrived as a panel beater, nearly killed himself in an MG Magnette on ice nearly arriving is someones living room. I then focused purely on Painting. next along was a lovely young man called DAG Middleton. Bob had left by this time making Brian the foreman. I think we had a bloke called Dobson, might have been Dennis and another bloke. Had quite a bit of fun. I left 1968.

Peter Lockwood joined the firm as a mechanic at about that time.
