Lobos   10 #49 Posted August 20, 2014 I'm in my late fifties and I can just remember the old Sheffield...just think what it was like down Atterclife and Darnall with all the back to back houses chimneys belching smoke out from the steel works..bark grimy terrace houses everywhere most with no bathrooms or inside toilets...remember no go areas up on the manor and places like Wincobank flower estate.no Sheffield has come a long way in the last thirty years. Â I can also remember the things you mention, and indeed Sheffield has come a long way. But so has everywhere else.
