Central heating, thinking of putting mine on

Recommended Posts

Desist! You shouldn't be contemplating this for another 2 months at least ...

Put another jumper on if you must

I agree. But the Electric/Gas Suppliers would certainly prefer you to turn on and pay out.

I've never altered mine, the thermostat brings it on when it's needed within the programmed times.

And it has definitely started coming on in a morning now, not so much in the evening.

Yup, just relented. Mrs Monkey swears she just heard the clanging of balls hit the floor!

Are E-On paying you commission?

Good advice all the same. Turning it on for 20mins a week could literally save you megabucks.

I know some people who have switched their heating on during the evenings, this past week. Have you?

Switching the heating on in July! No way - my wallet can't take it. I've found it warmer outside than indoors recently, so that's where I've migrated.

Or you could always sit in the greenhouse!

Some years back there was snow in June!
