Blue Screen of DEATH

Hello can anyone recommend a PC shop that is good value for money.

 

I have BAD_prompt_start up and MEMORY ERROR - Basically blue screen of death.

 

I need my photos from laptop. I don't want the Laptop anymore

 

Im about to start calling PC shops and thought id try here and get some advice

Just get the photos off your most recent backup.

 

No one risks not having a back up.....

I bet Ghozer could just grab the images for you.

You would only need to take out the hdd and use a dock on another pc.

Mozalan is on holiday.

Thank you for tour comments. Im really looking for a price that someone will be able to pull the photos of my laptop. The laptop to put it a better world is Fecked and you cannot get into safe mode. Please PM if you are up to the job with a price you can keep mylaptop as part of the deal

just need to pop the HDD into another computer or plug it into one, pity i aint in sheff im after collecting a few old lappys for parts lol

Do you have a computer or external HDD to put the pictures on to?

All you need is a drive caddy like one of these

Remove the drive from the laptop, slot it in, the plug it in via USB to another PC.

 

But you also really really need to start having a backup.

 

Google let's you store unlimited photos online for free (at 2 megapixels).

Full size copies should be kept on a drive somewhere.
