solujon   10 #50 Posted September 16, 2014 (edited) Hi Brian, Terry Rhodes lived in the house next to the steelworks wall at the bottom of Grimesthorpe Road, as geotom says 'opposite the club' , and near the Old Bowling Green Hotel. Can't give you a link but for a couple of pics click on this http://www.picturesheffield.com and type in refs. s16522 and s16515  Peter.  I can`t remember Terry, I knew Mick Rhodes worked for Jimmy Childs after leaving school with Barry Lowkes who`s mother had the shop on the corner of Rothay and Wincobank Lane. DIDO Â Â 11 #52 Posted September 17, 2014 Re the stone steps. Â David Prosser had a hen and pidgeon loft at the top of the steps, and I can remember going rat hunting with the dogs, never caught any though. Â When we were kids we used to climb the wall at the side of the steps and it seemed about 20ft tall, I went back a few years ago and I couldnt believe it was only about 5ft. Â ---------- Post added 17-09-2014 at 20:09 ---------- Â do you know anyone?
