Bomb the supermarkets !!!

Who cares if the majority of innocent shoppers die eh ?

That's the Israeli policy isn't it ?

The word destroy is part and parcel of the Israeli paranoia/propaganda mentality.

The only people out to destroy anything from what we have seen is... ?

Israel have the means to destroy Gaza but they choose to give them aid instead, Gaza and BDS don't have the means to destroy Israel but they will keep trying and will accept ISIS with open arms.

Haven't you and your aliasses realised by now that you've already lost?

What do you mean 'your aliasses'?

Flattening Gaza and killing and maiming thousands of people and making refugees of thousands more is 'giving aid'??? Black is white, up is down.

No, they give aid to the people whilst attacking terrorists that are firing rockets at them, you just want everyone to think they are attacking civilians when in fact they are attacking rocket launch sites and terrorist infrastructure.

I think it is the thousands of civilians they've slaughtered and maimed that has got people thinking they are attacking civilians. What about those four kids they blew up while playing football on the beach? No rocket launcher there. Or the direct hit on the UN shelter? To name but a couple of the many atrocities the Israeli military has committed in the past few weeks alone against the civilian population of Gaza in a tactic that is commonly known as 'collective punishment, and banned under the Geneva Convention.

You still don't get that war is dirty and civilians will always die, many of those claimed to be civilians will have been terrorist fighters, many will have been killed by those same terrorist fighters when their rockets fell short and hit Gaza, some were executed by Hamas, some were killed because they were used to shield Hamas rocket sites, fighters and terrorist infrastructure and some will have been killed when Israel missed their intended targets or killed because of bad intelligence. The best way for Gaza to avoid civilian casualties is to not fire rockets into Israel.

And whilst all this was going on Israel was still sending aid into Gaza, still treating Gazans in their hospitals and still warning civilians to evacuate areas that were intended targets.

Hamas was reported as saying that there would be "war in the future". So here we have a situation where a truce has been arranged by Egypt, supplies including steel and concrete allowed to pass into Gaza to help rebuild/repair the damage.

Will Hamas instead requisition these supplies to rebuild their tunnels instead...... just as they did before?

Once they start firing rockets into Israel again Israel is just going to retaliate in the same way. No end to it.

Just plain crazy, all of it.

So if you are dealing with an enemy who launches the rockets in the midst of densly populated areas explain exactly how you would take out these launch sites without harming so called civilian innocents?

It's a well known tactic used in the past. The Nazis built factories in densly populated areas with the idea (wrong as it turned out) that they would be safe from air attacks

Are you insinuating I am an antisemitic terrorist supporter to portray me as some kind of monster so you can negate what I'm saying without discussing it in a reasoned way? Wouldn't be the first time it has happened on this thread.

Hamas haven't killed, maimed, orphaned and made homeless tens of thousands of Israeli civilians in the last few weeks alone. Hamas aren't driving Israelis into refugee camps so they can steal their land and build Palestinian settlements. If Hamas ever start practicing barbarism on the same industrial scale which the Israeli state does, you can be sure I will condemn it in equally strong terms.

Israel is an occupying force in gaza according to international law, maybe you should read up on why the conflict between the Israelis and the Palestinians started in the first place instead of conveniently forgetting about that and putting all the blame on the Palestinian side.

There's no future for Gaza if it's going to be guided by the likes of the policies of Hamas. The United Nations and the Arab League are the primary entities who should be working towards achieving a permanent settlement along with the assistance of western nations.

I dont agree with Israels's policy of building settlements on Palestinian territory. Obama is against it but he dont seem to have what it takes to slow Netanyahu down.

On the other hand if one day a settlemt is reached on Gaza and the occupation ends will Hamas also acknowledge Israel's right to exist?

They havent up to now !!

Will there be moderates among Hamas who will agree to Israel's right to exist?

I would certainly hope so. On the other hand will the fools and numbskulls prevail and believe that the Gaza settlement was the first step in eliminting Israel as a nation? Dont laugh ! It's happened before

The Palestinians need to somehow remove Hamas from the scene as a first step towards a real and lasting settlement
