I haven't knowingly bought anything Israeli for 30 years. They have been a brutal murderous regime for a long time under many different leaderships. Fully support this campaign.

So the computer you're posting that from doesn't contain any parts made in Israel then??

It is possible, but statistically unlikely.

Intel Israel have exported one billion microprocessors and processor components.

Following the decision to boycott all goods produced in Israel, you now need to perform the following actions:-

Remove all Intel Pentium and Celeron computer processor chips from personal computers (desktops, laptops and notebooks) as these were either developed or manufactured in Israel. Note that the revolutionary new Ivy Bridge processor will be manufactured in Israel.

· Any computers that still work need to have their anti-virus software and personal firewalls removed as this technology originated in Israel. Any computers running the Windows XT operating system must be turned off immediately as this was developed in Israel. All current Microsoft operating systems are not to be used as Microsoft is heavily reliant on its Israel R&D centre.

· The organisation’s firewall will also need to be switched off. Staff should no longer open external emails as most of these will be infected with viruses

· No outgoing emails can be sent. The algorithm (code) that’s used today for sending e-mails, was made by an Israeli who worked at the Ben-Gurion University in Be’er-Sheva in 1980

· Before accepting any printed material, check that the supplier has not used the Israeli device that might have saved up to 50% of the ink used.

· At home, do not use Facebook as many in-built and add-on applications are Israeli-developed.

· Do not watch videos on the Internet as the platform used to upload them may be from AOL and hence from an Israeli company.

· Do not use Video On Demand (VOD) to watch movies as you may inadvertently see an advert displayed using Israeli software

· Do not purchase any games devices as these are likely to use Israeli technology.

· Do not read books using an e-book as this may contain Israeli technology.

· Do not use data storage as it may have been developed at Israel's storage technology R&D centre

· Do not buy an electric car as it is likely to be powered with an Israeli battery or use Israeli developed charging mats

2. Phones & Voicemail

· Discard all mobile phones, as this technology was developed in Israel, where the first mobile phones were manufactured. Mobile chip technology from a single Israeli company has now been installed in over 100 million devices.

· Only top level staff may retain mobile phones for emergency situations. However the use of SMS (Texting) is expressly forbidden as this facility was developed in Israel.

· No 4G devices can be used as the chipset is Israeli.

· Turn off your voice-mail service and delete any recorded messages. Israeli companies invented the voice-mail system.

· If your call is not answered by someone you know, hang up. Israeli call-centres and call-centre technology is in widespread operation in the UK.

· Do not use the Internet to search for answers to your questions as this may involve use of an Israeli-developed search engine. Better to remain unenlightened.

This list goes on.

Hamas has declined to extend the cease fire so let the battle continue. In olden times wars were decided by the victory of the strongest. Perhaps today we hope for too much by attempting to bring peace between two sides which are completely resolute in their aims.

Years ago Israel sent thousands of tons of concrete and building supplies to Gaza with the intention of those materials to be used in the construction of schools and hospitals. No schools or hospitals were ever built. Instead the stuff was used to construct an elaborate system of tunnels leading into Israel for the purpose of launching attacks.

This is what we're dealing with here. Until the day Hamas decides to sit down and accept the existence of Israel then there is no solution to the problem. Israel needs to re-open the borders between the two countries but Hamas must stop using open borders to smuggle in weaponry.

Neither of the above is likely to happen however so to hell with the whole mess. Let em fight it out until one or both reach the stage through sheer exhaustion that peace negotiations towards a serious and lasting peace can begin

That's usually they way with conflict. It happened in the 2 world wars and in most other conflicts until one side is beaten they just keep coming back for more of the same.

Also why is Israel the country specifically targeted, and not Gaza??

Afterall it's the IDF and Hamas doing all the shooting, the civilians on both sides are unfairly caught in the crossfire.

Boycotting the sales of Israeli apples and stuff is hardly taking action is it???

It's just moronic knee-jerk crap from idiots on social-media.

Might it not just be the boycotters are anti jewish in the first place, regardless of the Gaza?

About spot on. They are the 2 dozen jumping around outside Sainsbury's telling folk not to buy dates. I don't normally buy dates but I thought I'd buy some because of the yahoos.

Mind you Israels economy is based on high tech. They are the world leader in pilotless drones. If anyone doesn't want to buy those the Russians will as well as the Chinese. Israel will probably chuck in a couple of kilos of dates to cement the deal.
