The mossbrook eckington

Does anyone know what's happening with the mossbrook? On the website it simply says it is no longer a vintage inn pub and will be reopening at the end of August?

Its being refurbished other than that i've no idea.

Good news if it is, lovely old pub. Be nice if it was done similar to the Broadfield or British Oak and not some large chain pubco.

Always been a half decent pub and the food was just ok had guest beers on all the time too.

Its a Mitchell & Butler outlet ... same people who operate All Bar One, Ember Inns, Crown Carvery, Sizzling Pub Co ... so just another plastic pub, although I've heard the refurbishment looks good. M&B have never been in the 'fine dining' category though in my opinion.

A shame as its a great pub, lovely building. I hate when these pubcos take on great pubs and ruin them, The Castle at Castleton and Fox House are two other examples.
