Hi All,

I don't know it this is the right place to post (if not please let me know).

We are based in Sheffield and are creating a crowdfunding website that focuses on projects that benefit children that are 16 and under. The project can be from anywhere in the world as long as this is the case.

So, what is Crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a way of raising money by asking a large number of individuals to donate a small amount of money.

Raising money can be difficult (especially these days) and in the past many ventures or projects relied on sponsors or help from the banks.

Crowdfunding makes this far easier by using the internet to reach thousands (and sometimes millions) of people who can potentially help turn your ideas into a reality.

All you need to do is set up a profile of the project on our website and then guide as many people as you can to the page. You can use Social Media as well as your family, friends and community.

You can offer rewards to those that support you and the money you raise can be paid directly into an account of your choice – so you can get started on the important job of putting your funds to good use.

So who are you?

We are two friends (based in Sheffield) that are creating a new platform to help anyone and everyone raise funds for their project (as long as it benefits kids).

Whether you're a small community group, a sports team, a school wanting to hold an event, a business wanting to develop new child safety equipment or a even large scale charity organisation, you can post your project on our site and potentially receive donations from the general public..

We want to see schools get the equipment they need to better educate our kids and brighten their future. We want to see festivals and events where children can have a great time and laugh with their families and friends. We want to see education centres across the world teach our children new and exciting things. We want to see the great inventors and creators bringing new toys, gadgets and games to life!

What do you want from us?

The site launches towards the end of this year (Nov/Dec 2014). We would like to offer anyone who is interested the chance to post their campaign on our site. You can make a video, upload pictures and give a detailed description of your plight.

We currently cover the following categories:

• Books & Publishing

• Charity

• Education

• Fun & Social Events

• Gadgets & Technology

• Schools / Colleges

• Toys & Games

If you would like more information or feel that we could help your project or business then please feel welcome to contact me here.
