We've just had Whitecliffes fit us a new roof, new wall ties and pointing on the front of our terrace house in Woodseats. They did a fantastic job and the guys on site were friendly and efficient. Would definitely recommend them. In fact we'll be booking them again to fit us a new back door.

Can anyone recommend someone (who has fitted for them or has fitted for someone they know) who fits TV wall mounted brackets - that have full motion, not the cantilever ones.

 

I did have a company round who specialise in audio equipment but I guess the job was too small for them as they do not seem to be able to fit me in hence I am now looking for someone local who is reliable.

Hi we need some skirting boards fitting in a newly plastered bedroom. There's 13.5m - room is relatively square but there's 6 mitres due to lay out.

 

If anyone can recommend anyone please let us know.

just wanted to gve a public THANKS to Richard Brown of RB flooring for the work he has done at my house this week. Has replaced my ground floor carpets (4 rooms) with nice engineered wood. Work carried out very professionally, very precise, very cleanly and efficiently. If you have to install wooden floors (and I think also other joinery work) Richard is the man.

Just had Paul from Able Garage Doors to repair my 2 garage doors. We live in the Peak District and he has had to drive a considerable distance with no extra charge. I expected to pay loads for the locks and the electric door to be repaired but he has managed to repair all existing parts. What a star!! Please use this business for any garage door repairs you need as he is very reasonably priced and very good at what he does. Let's keep the small business going !!!:)

Just bought a semi house at Bradway s17. The home report says it has an old fuse box and cabling might need upgraded.

 

Do you think it's worth the money to spend money on a electrics report? The house was extended by converting the the garage into a bedroom and another bedroom on top and a new kitchen in 2008. So I would expect that should be safe as the paper of the extension should have passed the regulation check right?

 

So if there is qualified electrician is happy to give me quote about doing a report on electricity?

fuse box is not expensive to replace, wiring another matter its prob fine as Home reports always over compensate, a check by a sparky is a good bet try Main Electrical at halfway.

Can anyone recommend a good handyman who can reroof a shed? It's not a huge shed, about 8ft long I think.
