2015/16 recommended tradesmen MEGATHREAD no advertising/self promotion

Recommended Posts

ANDY HALL is a first-class kitchen fitter who uses excellent tradesmen to complete a thoroughly professional job in a very short time. He is very responsive to customers needs and it is a pleasure doing business with him. I would highly recommend him:07747 026254/0114 2617678 or see Andrew Hall Joinery website

Wanted some pipework tidying up and Don from Target plumbing ( http://www.sheffieldforum.co.uk/member.php?u=184739 ) came round and did a great job. Really happy with his work and he's a nice fella too. Helped out on a few things and gave some great advice on other parts of the heating system.

Would recommend for anyone looking for a plumber

I always thought this section was for recommending business and tradesmen only, and the Sheffield Job Vacancies http://www.sheffieldforum.co.uk/forumdisplay.php?f=51 was for advertising for work, by the looks of it its obviously not no more

It is, people should search through this thread to look for the trade they want to use and message them to use their services.

Why are people posting jobs in this section and not in the

Sheffield Job Vacancies??

I'd like to get some flaky white paint removed from the bricks on the back wall of the house. It's on about 8 square metres of it, all below the first floor.

Can anyone recommend a sandblasting or other kind of paint removal company that would do a small job like this?

wire brush then jet wash !!!!!

I guess I could try it. Do you mean a hand wire brush or the rotary kind in a power drill? Does it tear up the bricks a lot?
