White cat lost on 18th July, last seen in S10 area, wearing a blue collar. 1 green eye and 1 blue eye. He is a neutered male and he is deaf. Any sightings then please let me know. There has been a sighting of a white cat in a garden on Northfield Road -the lower end where the road works are. Could be my cat - if you live in that area could you keep an eye out or if you live nearby and own a white cat could you let me know so I don't have any false hopes. Thanks !!!

Hi to whoever replied - I am not very good with technology so didn't know how to reply so hope you get this message.

I look on the RSPCA lost and found site every day, my cat went missing on the 18th July and not the 16th -some of the posters have the wrong date on them. So this cat is not my Wilber.

He is (or was) an exceptionaly friendly cat - when you pick him up he wraps his paws around your hand and he is (or was) loving to everyone.

My son is disabled and things are not always easy and Wilber was just a bright and uncomplicated and much loved part of my life so I am missing him alot.

Thankyou for replying to my post.

My cat has turned up today in Barnsley which is a long long way from home!! For the past week he had been looked after by the lovely couple who took him in and then took him to the vet to see if he was microchipped and so he was returned to me.

For anyone who wonders if it is worth microchipping your pet -yes it is !

My cat would never have been found otherwise despite the literally 100s of posters that I put up.

I think that he must have "hitched a lift " somehow but he has no injuries. I'm just so glad to have him home and so grateful to the couple who took him in and then took him to the vets. Although they only found him in the last week that he was missing so I've no idea as to where he was in between but he was so healthy that I can only assume that he was looked after by more than one person. Anyway, I never want to lose him again and it has made me determined to always try to take in any cats that seem to be lost and take them to the vets.

Aww what wonderful news for you and Wilber :) Just shows how important microchipping is.

Yes -despite all of the posters that I distributed around where I live and all of the houses that I visited to search for Wilber, he would never have been found without his microchip !
