Firshill Crescent just now..

Just been out walking the dog and there were 4 males running up Firshill Crescent from the direction of the cul-de-sac that does down to Roe Lane Woods and the steps that come out just off Barnsley Road.

 

They seemed to be trying to conceal something and slowed to a walk when they saw me, trying to be nonchalant.

 

If you live in that area I'd just check your car and/or any outbuildings as it looked very suspicious to me, wouldn't be surprised if they had just lifted something

There could have been two cops around the corner responding to a 999 burglary call, looking for these..... that 101 call whoch I'm guessing wasn't made would have given the cops a clue!..... even if there was no crime reported, it would be logged as suspicious, then when someone wakes up and finds their living room is missing a few things, it gives the cops a clue as to the escape route used which means more chance of CCTV.

 

When will people realise, if it's enough to make you think "Mmmm that's a bit dodgy" ring 101 and just make them aware!

 

I once phoned 999 when two lads wearing balaclavas screeched up outside a shop I was passing on a motorbike and one ran in, I thought Robbery!

 

I never found out if it were but the cops were thankful I'd taken the time to let them know!
