Saben   10 #10 Posted January 24, 2015 I'd be interested to know if there is an MSG free Chinese in Sheffield too.  MSG is called Ve Tsin by the Chinese. Most Chinese supermarkets stock it. Sometimes it is labelled "Flavour Powder" in English on the packaging. Thought I would tell you that so you can avoid it.
 Share this content via...
biotechpete   10 #11 Posted January 25, 2015 I know it's not Chinese but Wagamama don't add msg to any dishes. Some of the ingredients do contain it but this is listed on their website.  IIRC, Wok This Way on South Rd is msg free, for take away. cv65user   10 #12 Posted January 25, 2015 you will never find msg free . all stuff are cooked in advance with some sort of flavoring . soya sauce in itself is a form of flavoring / msg.  im allergic also, my throat goes funny / dry in night - all i can do is ask for no soya and put my own soya/ salt if i want it more salty.
