any body live on A.B.C.Streets on Penistone Rd I lived there from 1942 to 1964 in all the muck fog and smoke I,m nearly 76 and as fit as a fart

I didn't but knew someone that did.

Frank Green -believed he lived on Brough St

1950's to 1964 roughly.:|

I didn't live there but met up with a family (Smith) I think at trusville holiday camp Mabelthorpe in the 1960s who lived on anlaby street

Don,t forget Driffield St. My wife (Margaret Oldfield). Lived there until the early seventies

Anlaby Brough Cottom Eden Ilived further down opposite Woodgrove lane Hobson A venue we were posher than the A.B.C.streets

511 penistone rd and my first love Lara Burgoyne we must have been all of 5 in 1939:love::love:

My gran lived down there Alice and Alf Gray thier Jack and Vera Hobson son Jackie and daughter Carol anyone remember the Hilfoot Club too

The hillfoot club building is still there as is the foundry building which is in my old street Hobson Ave .the river Don is beautifull all flower and trout in the river

:|I remember Hillfoot club.

I was a member of Sheffield United Harriers (walking section ).

We used to have the Johnny Wilson 6 mile handicap walk held

every year on Boxing Day from the Hillfoot Bridge WMC. :| Owl.
